Traditional Chinese Medicine
Chinese Herbal Medicine is a holistic healing practice within Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), using herbal formulas to restore balance and promote well-being. Chinese herbal medicine has a comprehensive history, with written records dating back over 2,000 years.
Chinese Herbal Medicine addresses imbalances in your body and mind. Herbal prescriptions treat both your symptoms and underlying patterns of disharmony.
Each formula is customised to your unique constitution and current imbalances, rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
You can consume the herbs in various forms, including:
• raw herbs in decoctions (water-based brews), either steeped or cooked
• powders added to hot water
• granules added to hot water
• capsules
• honey balls
Chinese herbal medicine is often used in conjunction with other TCM therapies like acupuncture, massage, and dietary advice.
